                                                               A long tradition.

In the year 2010, the Passion story will be presented for the 41st time in Oberammergau. In unique continuity, the community of Oberammergau has maintained the Passion Play tradition throughout the centuries. This also involves each individual generation taking a new look at the Passion Play. For the past two years, a team under the direction of the producer-director Christian Stückl has been preparing the new production for the year 2010, a production in which more than 2000 citizens of Oberammergau will be participating.
